Joining Cillian O’Connor and Kevin McLoughlin and the pair of debutants in attack is the experienced duo of Alan Freeman and Enda Varley.

If past performances are a good indicator of future performance – and they are – Mayo will beat Galway on Sunday at Pearse Stadium (4pm).

The Claregalway Hotel senior and intermediate football championship dream teams for 2012 have been announced.

Under the new management of Jimmy O’Dea and Kevin Reidy, Tuam Stars are back in the county semi-finals where they will face the team that beat them in last year’s county final, Corofin.

Both Galway corner backs, Kieran McGrath (Corofin) and Keith Kelly (StGrellans), will make their senior championship debuts against Roscommon in Dr Hyde Park (4pm) on Sunday.
